ING Kinect Game
A project I worked on at Headcandy. It's a promotional game for ING, a dutch bank. The player has to catch money that's being shot out of an ATM. The hands on the screen are controlled by tracking the players hands using a Kinect. It's made in C# and XNA. -
Pringles Promotional Game
A project I worked on at Headcandy. It's a promotional game for a Pringles campaign that launched a new set of flavours. The player has to catch ingredients, falling from the top of the screen, with a pringles can. The can is controlled by tracking the players hand using a Kinect. It's made in C# and XNA. -
Shifting Bricks
During the Global Game Jam 2014, me and a team of friends made a game with the working title "Shifting Bricks". The game is an action-packed two player versus-game, in the style of Bomberman. We are confident that the game has potential so it is now in further development. The platforms on which it is to be released still need to be determined. It is made entirely in Unity 3D and scripted in C#. -
Fortunes Tower
Fortune's Tower is a mini game in Fable II, and I recreated this in Unity as an exercise for myself and for portfolio purposes. The complete project can be downloaded here . The art is created by and property of Antonio Hoogervorst and not for commercial use. -
Rollerbears
Rollerbears is a mobile game that is still in development. It's a nerve-wracking action packed game about bears on rollerskates. You earn points by going fast, going far or doing awesome stunts! It is being developed by me and Ies Wierdsma, who is in charge of art and UI design. I'm mainly responsible for programming, which is done in C# for Unity. -
Digital Investigation
Digital Investigation is a digital aid used in an online course for the TUDelft. During the course, students can open an interactive scene in their browser. Here they have to investigate a plane crash and find out what happened. I am responsible for programming, which is done in c#, using Unity. -
Held
Held is a mobile game made voor the dutch "Hartstichting", to educate kids on the importance of CPR. I was hired by TUDelft Gamelab to help with development on this game. The game is made with Unity. Art is done by Hans Krill . -
Aldiver Racing Game
This racing game is a promotional game for Aldiver, a driving school for logistics and transport. It is playable on iOS, Android and WebGL. I got hired to work on this project by Graphic Invention. I was responsible for the technical development of the game and worked with their designers and technical staff to realize this project. Development for this game was done in Unity. -
Wheelie Pop
WheeliePop is a game developed together with Shapers for "Veilig Verkeer Nederland" (Dutch Traffic Safety institute). The game was made for kids to teach them not to use their phones while riding a bike. It's made in Unity and published both in the iOS app store and Google Play store. I was responsible for programming, which is done in C#, and helped out with game design. -
Rabo PinPin
I was hired by &Ranj as a programmer to work on this project for the Rabobank. It is an app that teaches kids about money and saving in a playful manner, by taking care of a little penguin called Pinpin. Pinpin lives in your banking card and comes out in Augmented Reality when you scan your card. You have to take care of them by feeding and cleaning, and you get to play mini-games to collect Pegels, the virtual currency of the game. The game was made in Unity using Vuforia AR technology. It is published both in the iOS app store and Google Play store. -
Fibre Reinforced Polymer Tool
For the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences at the TUDelft I made a tool for calculating deformation matrices used in their classical laminate theory course. This course covers how certain materials behave (and how to calculate that behaviour) when forces are exerted on them. The students of this course are expected to know how to calculate these matrices, but doing so is very time-consuming work. This tool does that work and provides a visual aid so that students get a better grasp of what these calculations actually mean. This project was made in Unity3D and runs in WebGL. -
AH Tech
I was hired by &Ranj as a programmer to create this app for Albert Heijn. The app was part of a promotional campaign, where you could collect cards by doing your grocery shopping at Albert Heijn. Each of these card would teach kids something about technology, and some of them could be scanned with this Augmented Reality app. When scanned, Techie the robot shows up and can do a number of cool moves that you can collect and then program, using a visual interface. The game was made in Unity using Vuforia AR technology. It is published both in the iOS app store and Google Play store. -
Eventrum
When working at The Barn I worked mainly on Eventrum. Eventrum is an online platform where people can hold virtual events, fairs or conferences with large groups of people. I was the lead technical developer on the project and was in charge of programming on the client side, which was made in Unity. This project taught me a lot about organizing large scale projects, from a technological point of view but also from a development process point of view. -
